Majority of things I proclaim "meta" come from bigger PZ youtubers, somewhat known players in PZ discord and just general things I see as being widely accepted. Yes, there are some differences, but they're not THAT different. For example you could compare my work with Retanaru's tier list that came way before and actually inspired me heavily to work on my own tier list. Yes, there are definitely things that inevitably under heavier influence of my opinion rather than the communities, but overall I really tried to avoid my own biases, so I feel like this critique is a bit unfair. My opinion was really biased before I started my work on this guide, as I said in my other reply: you would be surprised to see how much my opinion on things changed due to the influence of the community. So that was the main reason I actually studied plenty of different tier lists, opinions and overall PZ content on these traits and occupations. To be honest with you, this was one of the main things I was trying to avoid with this Tier List, because my main issue with them in the first place was that they're really subjective. If you're going to make a tier list for a community it needs reflect the communities opinion, not just yours. While I appreciate the effort that's gone into this you're presenting very subjective opinions as objective facts. I think first few days of critique towards this guide are the most important time and I would love to get all the opinions I could so I could improve it. Seems like a pretty common death cause with this trait.

And I was surprised how many people actually died to being trapped inside cars with this trait. It only really gets to be a drag when erosion makes it hard to get around wrecks without towing them.Įrosion sucks, but I've seen way more people complain (and experienced that personally) about cars not being able to push few zombies with Sunday Driver.

Though, I think this is a fair critique too, I'll put Sunday Driver a bit higher in the next update. Getting a car is something you probably want to work on in your first week for sure and usually people consider at least first two weeks as early game from what I've seen (to me early game is first month though). I think main issue comes from the fact that "early game" and "late game" are pretty vague terms and people can understand them differently. You've also underrated Sunday driver if you're focused on the early game.

#PROJECT ZOMBOID TRAITS TIER LIST UPDATE#

I think that's fair enough, it was around mid D tier majority of the time I worked on the guide anyway, I'll update it later, thanks! As I see it you want to level up tailoring a bit later into the game, so when you get cocky - your clothing can be ready to be punished for your mistakes.ĭespite that, I think you've overrated sewer in single-player, where tailoring is extremely easy to level from scratch with fast forwarding. And it scales pretty meh at it's first few levels, so you just gotta commit to it.

No matter how much I tested, but tailoring feels really slow to level up, also I never seen anyone to really prioritize it over any other major for survival early skill early on like carpentry. That's interesting, could you clarify why do you think that, I would really appreciate that because I feel like tailoring is the least tested skill by me. It helps you get to the late game, but that's not the same thing. I also strongly disagree that tailoring is a late-game skill. It gives plenty of foraging bonuses I see no point of going through, they're cool, but as far as I can tell foraging even after the recent buffs still can't compete with your standard town looting. Starting campfires with planks a bit faster is cool, but difference is not that crucial 99% chance of getting scratches/lacerations from trees - sounds incredible, but then you can press "walk to" and just ignore tree collision, so this part becomes redundant If you're able to survive to winter, you should be able to wear warm and insulating clothing 90% chance of catching cold is great, but cold becomes your true enemy only near winter. I actually still pick it every time because I really like it. Outdoorsman was actually a trait I considered to be S tier for my first 200 hours into PZ, so I understand where you're coming from. I think you may be underestimating outdoorsman
